What I learned: 

Doing this case study I learned how to research the pathophysiology of different diseases, how to interpret biochemical and anthropometric measurements, recognize different drug-nutrient interactions, and give medical nutrition therapy recommendations. 

Reflection to assignment: 

This assignment was very rewarding. I very much enjoyed learning all about diverticulitis and all that can be done to prevent it and treat it. Learning about any type of disease always excites me because I am so amazed at how nutrition plays such a large role in treating and preventing diseases. 

Relevance to the profession: 

This assignment is very relevant to the profession because it shows that I am able to have a patient and go through all of the steps to diagnose and treat them using nutrition therapy.
