Assignment Title: Eating Competence Term Paper

What I learned: 

Doing this assignment taught me how to conduct in-depth qualitative interviews to find similarities and differences between how an adult’s eating attitudes may stem from childhood experiences. I learned that the way children are brought up around food plays such a large role in how they act around food as adults. 

Reflection to assignment:

This assignment was very interesting to me because I am very intrigued by what may cause eating disorders. I would be very interested in doing more research on the subject because if eating disorders can be prevented, it would be great to figure out what may bring them on. 

Relevance to profession: 

This assignment is relevant to the profession of dietetics because it shows that I am able to be an investigator and discover comparisons of certain issues.
