Assignment Title: Video-taped counseling session, critique, and ADIME

What I learned: Doing this assignment helped me understand how hard it is to counsel a client. It is difficult to let them know that they need to change their eating and exercise behaviors without hurting their feelings. I learned how to use motivational interviewing to guide the client to their goals. 

Reflection to assignment: This assignment was very beneficial because it allowed me to view the counseling session and find my strengths and weaknesses. It also furthered my interest in counseling, letting me know I wanted to continue to counsel clients. 

Relevance to profession: This assignment will help me with the dietetics profession because it allowed me to critique myself and to see how to better counsel clients. I will be counseling many more times in the future, so it is great that I was able to be introduced to it so early.
